Platypus Media was founded in 2000 with a goal to create educational books for parents and children. We publish books that foster warmth, closeness, literacy, curiosity, and family attachments, with a special focus on resources for breastfeeding families. In 2006, Science Naturally was founded as an imprint of Platypus Media, specializing in engaging STEM children's books. We take pride in making complicated subjects accessible and fun for kids of all ages. Platypus Media and Science Naturally books have been translated into many languages, and we enjoy partnering with literacy organizations to create custom editions. Our books are distributed through National Book Network and are available from all major wholesalers.
